What He’s Done.

In addition to working as a mental performance consultant, RJ has worked with hundreds of athletes as a coach. As a collegiate Strength Coach, he has worked with DIII national champions and DI athletes. During his time as a high school coach, he has built conference championship track teams and state-contending powerlifting teams.

His Training

RJ not only received his Master’s in Sports Psychology and Bachelor's in Exercise Science to make him the well-rounded coach he is, but has gathered a collection of mentors that refined him into an expert in his craft.

RJ was in the first online training cohort created by George Mumford, the mindfulness teacher of Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson. RJ has been mentored and trained by Chad McGehee, the first Meditation Director in DI athletics, and he has trained in all classical mindfulness programs (including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement).

This does not even include the mentorship he received during his schooling, working under a number of respected Sports Psychologists.

Despite all this training he continues to grow as a practitioner to ensure each client has the best service possible.
